Local restaurant workers continue to reap the benefits of the Crosstown tip-off challenge between University of Cincinnati and Xavier University fans.
A total of $6,232 in tips were left by fans Saturday night, according to Facebook posts, including one that is now a record sum.
The first came from a Bearcats fan dining at Mr. Pitiful s in Over-the-Rhine, who left a $1,211 tip for a $12 bill.
Then a Musketeers fan left a $2,021 tip on a $30 bill at Forno Osteria and Bar in Hyde Park. A note left by the customer said Go XU!
