Cochon Butcher Kicks Off Thursday Steak Nights with Beefsteak Dinner

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Chefs Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski kick off a new weekly three-course Steak Night on Thursdays at Cochon Butcher. The first Steak Night, Thursday, April 15th is inspired by the traditional but almost forgotten “beefsteak dinner.” In the weeks following, the culinary team will experiment with cuts of beef rooted in other origins, inspired by the meaty traditions of places such as Argentina, France, Italy, and possibly even a “Great Outdoors” night featuring the “New” 96er.
Each week, Chef de Cuisine Forrest Jackson will craft a special menu, applying varying aging and cooking techniques for singular dining experiences. “The availability of these special cuts on Steak Night will be limited to what we have in the butcher case that week,” said Stryjewski. “This is an opportunity for us to showcase our sourcing and techniques like wet-aging in butter and dry-aging while offering something diff ....

The award-winning culinary team of the Link Restaurant Group has created a catering menu for an Easter dinner to be served at home or a springtime meal any day of the week. Easter and sprint catering menu items can be ordered online at cochonbutcher.com with a 24 hour notice, and are available for pick-up Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4, from 11 a.m. –7 p.m. For those looking to celebrate the holidays with family and friends at one of the Link Restaurant Group restaurants, reservations are recommended. Four Seasons to partner with Donald Link, Alon Shaya on restaurants
New Orleans chefs Donald Link and Alon Shaya will be bringing restaurants to the Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences.
The hotel, located in the former World Trade Center at the foot of Canal Street, is set to open in phases beginning in May following the structure’s multimillion-dollar renovation. Link’s restaurant is scheduled to open in October on the hotel’s fifth floor, adjacent to its infinity pool, and will offer panoramic views of the Mississippi River, a news release said.
Link operates Herbsaint, Cochon, Cochon Butcher, Pêche Seafood Grill, La Boulangerie, Gianna, and his private event facility, Calcasieu. ....

NEW ORLEANS – Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans, opening in Spring 2021, has announced a partnership with Louisiana native chef Donald Link.
“We are excited to announce this partnership with Chef Donald Link and his talented team, some of New Orleans’ most renowned restaurateurs,” said Mali Carow, Four Seasons general manager. “His incredible, award-winning food, combined with this rare riverfront location will make for one of the most prized dining experiences in the City.”
