El peleador chihuahuense Fernando Padilla confirmó que será en el mes de octubre cuando haga su debut en la empresa más importante en artes marciales mixtas, la UFC, siendo el segundo chihuahuense que subirá a la jaula.
El peleador capitalino recientemente confirmó su lugar en la UFC al doblegar por TKO al ahora excampeón de FURY Fighting Championship, Cameron Graves, al minuto 1:19 del segundo round para coronarse como campeón del Peso Pluma.

Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts Academy wins in 3 events

HOUSTON, March 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ This past weekend, Texas was host to a series of martial arts events. These included the IBJJF Dallas Open Jiu-jitsu Competition, Combat Sports Coverage and Fury Fighting Championship. Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts Academy (www.TeamTooke.com) had students competing in all 3 events.
The Dallas Open held by the IBJJF is one of the largest Brazilian Jiu-jitsu events in the south. Team Tooke students John McCowen and Jose Llanas each brought home gold medals in their divisions. Jose Llanas, competed against some of the toughest black belts in the country. With 3 matches he secured 2 submission victories and won the finals match by points. John McCowen won gold in the brown belt super heavy weight division and placed 2
