The Sindh High Court directed Karachi Development Authority (KDA) officials on Saturday to immediately end the illegal occupation of a citizen s property, after a plea seeking contempt of court action against the Karachi Development Authority director general (DG) was filed in the court.
The petitioner, Aftab Majeed, maintained in the plea that the court had issued orders for the authorities to vacate his property, which covers an area of 40 square yards. However, the authorities have failed to comply with the order, he stated in the plea. ....

6.1 million Indians among over 533 million users suffer Facebook data leak

A hacker has posted the phone numbers and sensitive account details of nearly 533 million Facebook users about a fifth of the social networking platform s entire user base including over 61 lakh Indian users which has been dumped on a public cybercrime forum.
The leaked data includes Facebook ID numbers, profile names, email addresses, location information, gender details, job data, and other details.

New Zealand’s competition enforcement agency, The Commerce Commission, has completed its review of consumer mobile phone bills following feedback from the telecommunications industry on their plans for providing customers with more “meaningful product and service comparisons” and to guard against overspending.
Completion of the review comes after the Commission published an open letter in September 2020, asking telcos Spark, Vodafone and 2degrees to share their customer service plans. This was accompanied by a report from Schiff Consulting, aspects of which were later contested by the industry.
