A PASSIONATE personal trainer is reflecting on a year of helping hundreds of people reach their fitness goals without ever meeting them in person.
Michelle Orr took to Zoom last April 12 months ago when lockdown hit and ever since then she has been helping members of the community stay fit and active.
The kind-hearted Greenockian offered free fitness classes for three months before launching a full-time venture as a PT, taking two 30-minute classes per day online.
Mum of two Michelle, who previously lost five stone herself, has now gone global with her efforts.
Fitness fanatics from as far afield as Dubai have taken part in her classes. ....

He was born with holes in his heart and severe asthma, often spending spells in hospital.
Rhys, from the east end, also has learning disabilities including Asperger s and dyslexia.
His success in the ring led him to taking a leading role outside it as an ambassador for disabled rights. ....

DJ who has raised over £70k for community pledges to give hospice monthly cash boost

A BIG-hearted DJ who has raised over £70,000 for the Inverclyde community has pledged to give the hospice a monthly cash boost.
Stephen Connon, who started running online raffles and random number generators last May to raise funds for community groups, will now donate proceeds to Ardgowan Hospice every four weeks.
His Facebook group, Inverclyde BB2020 has clocked up 10,000 followers and together they ve raised £72,000 for local charities, schools, sports teams and good causes.
The 32-year-old Greenockian has worked tirelessly over the past eight months to help those in need and his latest kind gesture was inspired by the care the hospice provided for two late loved ones. ....
