AS B-Dama, popularly known simply as B-Dama, has closed, as reported by Berkeleyside. In the near future, the izakaya by restaurateur Chikara Ono will host pop-ups for his other concepts, Sundo and Dela Curo.

Take a walk around the Glen Park neighborhood, as I did the other day with Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, and you’ll run into reminders that San Francisco often operates in open defiance of the values we say we hold dear.
We say we value diverse neighborhoods. We lament that our shocking housing prices drive so many people out of the city. We profess to care desperately about climate change and vow to get more people out of their cars in our so-called transit-first city.
