The new interactive portal allows fleets to purchase tires, activate service and gain unparalleled insight into their tire program – all in one place. With Fleet Central, fleets can view and take action on all aspects of their tire program, helping them to make faster, more informed decisions for their business. The modern, easy-to-use dashboard allows users to view information at a total fleet level all the way down to a specific vehicle, tire or service event in real time. By Alois Vinga THE National Tyre Services (NTS) has given credit to the improved foreign currency availability in the country to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe’s (RBZ) auction system, which has seen a boost in the company’s sales volumes by 17%. Presenting the entity’s financial performance last week, the NTS chairperson Rutenhero Moyo, said despite the challenges faced, some key changes in economic fundamentals have improved the company’s fortunes. “In particular, we had increased cost-effective production uptime due to more frequent availability of electricity and fuel over the first half of the financial year,” he said. “The company’s access to foreign currency through the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe auction system which was introduced in June 2020 also improved and resulted in stable prices.” ....

(KAIT) - It’s a new year, and Jonesboro police are already investigating several catalytic converter thefts. According to a police report, the first theft happened to an Arkansas State University van, where someone cut off two catalytic converters from a 2010 Ford Econoline E-350, valued at $3,000. The theft happened sometime between Dec. 30 and Jan. 4 at Burt’s Auto Service, 5527 E. Nettleton Avenue in Jonesboro. The second theft involved a van from Master Roof & Remodel, 4801 E. Parker Rd., where $1,676.23 in damage happened when someone stole a catalytic converter from a 2017 Ford F-450. ....
