We all lost a strong, courageous woman on May 19, 2021. Elizabeth Burrowes Vierra was born on July 28, 1937 in Oakland, California. The only child of Robert Jamieson and Dorothy Burrowes, Bette was raised by maternal grandparents and her aunt and uncle.
