3 American Heroes Posed For Photo Together In Chattanooga In 2003
Sunday, May 9, 2021 - by Earl Freudenberg
Retired Brigadier General Carl Levi recently sent me a very special picture of three American Heroes.  Charles Coolidge, Desmond Doss and Pat Brady all were awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

The men were present in 2003 for the Armed Forces Day Luncheon in Chattanooga.  General Brady, a retired Major General and the most decorated solider of Viet Nam, was the guest speaker.   While General Brady was here Mr.
Levi took Brady to see Coolidge at Chattanooga Printing - the business the Coolidge family has operated in Chattanooga for over a hundred years.  All three men became very close friends comparing stories of their military years. ....

Thursday, April 8, 2021
Cleveland City Schools has completed its strategic goal of providing every student with a laptop. This multi-year, one-to-one objective is part of the BLADE Project (Blended Learning and Digital Enhancement)
This is a significant milestone in the overall digital transformation of the district, officials said. This tremendous
accomplishment is due to the vision and leadership of Director of Schools Dr. Russell Dyer, as well as the progressive thinking and support of the Cleveland City Schools Board of Education members.
The BLADE Project began with devices at Cleveland Middle School and Cleveland High School three years ago and has now been expanded to include all grades. ....

Roy Exum: ‘There Ain’t No Way!’

As a junior, I’d go by our family newspaper every afternoon with a very simple directive from my grandfather. “Look for the wheel that squeaks.” In short, find something that needs to be done and do it. Don’t ask permission or expect any praise – just do it!” ....
