Spirits In The Wild Returns To Chattanooga Zoo May 15 Friday, April 23, 2021
The Chattanooga Zoo will host Spirits in the Wild, 2021 on May 15 from 6-10 p.m. Guests will immerse themselves in the Zoo’s wildlife while enjoying food and beverages from local Chattanooga restaurants.
This 21 and older event will have live art demonstrations from wood-burning artist, Hollie Berry, and painter Michelle Fountain. Art painted by the animals will also be available for purchase, as well as animal art being created on the night of the event. Live music will be provided by several area-artists, like trio Stringer’s Ridge, saxophonist Frank Bumpass, and artist Dana Rogers.

Chattanooga Whiskey Introduces A Tawny Port Cask Finished Whiskey
Chattanooga Whiskey out of Tennessee recently announced the first release of its Barrel Finishing Series: Tawny Port Cask Finish.
This limited edition Barrel Finishing Series showcases what’s described as the distillery’s signature Tennessee High Malt whiskey with a variety of classic finishing casks. This expression is crafted from a combination of unique bourbon mash bills, all containing over 25% specialty malt.
Each of the batches is made to complement the flavor characteristics of the barrel it was finished in.

Scenic City Clay Arts Announces “The Joy of Clay” Virtual Auction Monday, March 1, 2021
Scenic City Clay Arts will be hosting The Joy of Clay, a virtual auction benefiting the nonprofit ceramic studio beginning March 16-21. “Clay matters because clay brings joy to so many,” said Alex Quarles, board president of Scenic City Clay Arts. “Whether you find peace in creating with clay or find happiness in bringing ceramics into your home for daily use and enjoyment, clay brings joy.”
All of the items featured in this auction are created by local potters and artists or are from local businesses. Additionally, many of the ceramic pieces have been created in Scenic City Clay Arts’ community studio by members, students and instructors.
