A combined effort and great teamwork between Tactical Response Team deployed at Qumbu, Qumbu Information Officer, Crime Scene Investigation and Provincial Detectives led to the arrest of one male suspect aged 39 early today, 09 June 2021. The arrest happened during a night raid conducted in search of illegal firearms at Blackhill location from 00:00 till 05:00. The suspect was arrested and charged for unlawful possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition and expected to appear at Qumbu magistrates’ court. One firearm, a magazine and seventeen (17) live round of ammunition was seized. According to the information these firearms are being used to commit stock theft and other illegal activities. ....
East Bridgewater Motorcycle Gang Leader Sentenced for Gun Crime BOSTON The man described by authorities as the regional leader of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club has been sentenced to more than two years in prison for being in possession of an unregistered gun. Federal prosecutors say 48-year-old Bruce “Monster” Sartwell was sentenced Wednesday to two years and three months behind bars and three years of probation. Federal authorities in October 2019 intercepted a package from China addressed to Sartwell that was labeled as a “fuel filter” but which actually contained a firearms silencer. Authorities say a search of his East Bridgewater home led to the discovery of an unregistered AR-15-style gun as well as gun manufacturing tools and ammunition. ....
