Earlier, the rebel Trinamool leader had written to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) alleging interference in Saradha chit fund case investigation.
This, after Sudipta Sen, the proprietor of Saradha Group of companies, reportedly on December 1, wrote a letter to the chief minister and the Prime Minister while he was in jail. In the letter, he accused many TMC leaders of taking money from the Saradha chit fund case.
Sudipta Sen is accused of cheating and misappropriation of funds in the scam.

Haldia (West Bengal): Former Trinamool Congress (TMC) minister in West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari is now the cynosure of all eyes in the state. Discussions regarding his next political move are raging far and wide. Well Suvendu Adhikari once more added fuel to the fire by slamming the party for its outsider-insider comment. He said those coming from other states can’t be branded as outsiders.
Adhikari had resigned from the West Bengal cabinet and had been distancing himself from the party over the last few months. He asserted he is first an Indian and then a Bengali. He also criticised the TMC leadership, saying it is giving more importance to the party than people. ....

Haldia (West Bengal) [India], December 15 (ANI): Trinamool Congress leader Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday said his party will not only keep on fighting for farmers right but will also continue to work together to strengthen the democracy.
We will fight for good work and also for rights of farmers. The TMC will work together to strengthen the democracy of our country. That is the only path we have. As the constitution says, For the people, by the People . It will continue to remain in the state. Why should there be a system like For the party, by the party, of the party? asked Adhikari while attending a programme on the 121st birth anniversary of freedom fighter Satish Chandra Samanta. ....

Amid speculations over his next political move, disgruntled Trinamool Congress leader Suvendu Adhikari Tuesday appeared to inch closer to the BJP as he slammed the TMC over the insider-outsider debate and said those coming from other states can’t be branded as outsiders.
Adhikari, who had resigned from the state cabinet and had been distancing himself from the party over the last few months, said, he is first an Indian and then a Bengali.
He also criticized the TMC leadership, saying it is giving more importance to the party than people. ....
