A duo of convicted felons in California have been charged with murder after allegedly spotting a Black man walking across the street and deciding to fatally shoot him because he was Black.
William Arnold Armendariz, 24, and Samuel Vasquez, 22, were formally charged on Monday with the November 7, 2015 murder of 51-year-old Charles Warren Neazer in Banning, California, according to a Banning Police Department press release.
On Tuesday, Patch reported that police believe the murder took place after Armendariz and Vasquez spotted Neazer crossing a street and allegedly decided to shoot him because he was Black. ....

Two men are suspected of killing a 51-year-old Blackman in a racially motivated 2015 attack in Banning, Banning Police said Monday.
Banning Police allege William Arnold Armendariz, 24, and Samuel Vasquez, 22, both of Banning, shot and killed Charles Warren Neazer of Banning more than five years ago.
Banning detectives have submitted the case to the Riverside County District Attorney s Office for review.
Armendariz is being held without bail at the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on charges in another case. He is charged with several counts of first-degree murder and special circumstance allegations of killing for the benefit of a criminal street gang in connection with killings in July 2018 and September 2020, according to court documents. ....

SAN PATRICIO COUNTY, Texas A Mission resident is facing multiple charges after trespassing the Sinton Airport on Saturday night.
According to Sheriff Oscar Rivera a Sinton Airport tenant went by the airport Saturday night around 9:30 pm and saw “an unoccupied car parked by the locked gate.”
Sheriff Rivera says the tenant then saw a truck by the gas pump occupied by a man inside the facility. ....
