TACOMA, Wash. - Two Tacoma police officers have been charged with second-degree murder for the death of Manuel Manny Ellis and a third officer has been charged with first-degree manslaughter, Attorney General Bob Ferguson announced Thursday. 
Officers Christopher Burbank and Matthew Collins are charged with second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter. Officer Timothy Rankine has been charged with first-degree manslaughter. There are warrants out for their arrests.

E. Wash. berry farm to pay $350,000 to women harassed, assaulted by ex-manager

OLYMPIA, Wash. - A Walla Walla County blueberry farm has been ordered to pay $350,000 to several women who were harassed, assaulted and retaliated against by a former manager at the farm who pleaded guilty in November to felony assault in the case.
The court-ordered payment comes as the result of a civil rights enforcement action by state Attorney General Bob Ferguson s office against Great Columbia Berry Farms, located in Burbank, Wash.
The lawsuit asserts one of the company’s managers, Jose Luis Contreras Ramirez, raped at least one female worker, sexually harassed several female workers over the course of years and retaliated against those workers who spoke out against his conduct. At least four women were affected by Contreras’ conduct, the lawsuit states. ....
