KUALA LUMPUR (May 5): Khazanah Nasional Bhd has returned to the US dollar sukuk market, and successfully priced a dual-tranche offering comprising a five-year US$400 million in nominal value sukuk due 2026, and a 10-year US$600 million in nominal value sukuk due 2031.
In a statement, the sovereign wealth fund said the sukuk will be issued via a Labuan-incorporated special purpose vehicle Dua Capital Ltd.
The sukuk, which is structured under the Shariah principle of wakalah utilising Shariah-compliant shares and commodities, will be listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd under an exempt regime and the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd. ....

KUALA LUMPUR (April 22): Top Glove Corp Bhd has downsized its Hong Kong initial public offering (IPO) to raise RM4.17 billion, down from the RM7.7 billion initially.
In a bourse filing, Top Glove explained that the decision on raising less money in Hong Kong came after the glove maker took into account the best interest of the existing shareholders of the company by minimising dilution to existing shareholders respective shareholding .
Consequently, cash-rich Top Glove said it will issue 793.5 million shares, from 1.495 billion shares initially stated. ....

PETRON Corp. has completed the issuance of $550-million undated unsubordinated capital securities, the Ramon S. Ang-led oil company said on Tuesday, adding that these will be listed in Singapore.
In a disclosure to the local bourse, Petron said that it expects to list the securities on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd. by April 20.
The net proceeds from the issuance, placed at around $547.8 million after the deduction of commissions, will be used by the company to repay debts and for general corporate purposes, it said.
The development comes a week after the company released its final offering circular, which said the perpetual capital securities are in denominations of $200,000 and in integral multiples of $1,000 in excess. ....

Genting Malaysia prices US$1bil notes to raise cash

’s wholly-owned subsidiary GENM Capital Labuan Ltd had on April 12 priced its US$1bil (RM4.14bil) 3.882% senior unsecured notes to refinance existing borrowings and raise cash for capital needs.
The 10-year notes due in 2031 will be fully guaranteed by Genting Malaysia and are expected to be listed and quoted on the official list of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.
Meanwhile, the notes will be listed but not quoted for trading on Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd under the exempt regime.
The company told Bursa Malaysia yesterday that the notes have been sold to qualified institutional buyers in the United States (US) and to certain non-US persons in offshore transactions outside the US. ....

Genting prices US$1bil senior unsecured notes

’s wholly-owned subsidiary GENM Capital Labuan Ltd has priced its offering of US$1 billion to the aggregate principal amount of 3.88 per cent senior unsecured notes that is due 2031.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Genting Malaysia said the notes would be fully and unconditionally guaranteed by the company.
The notes have been offered and sold in the United States (US) only to qualified institutional buyers and to certain non-US persons in offshore transactions outside the US in reliance on Regulation S under the Securities Act,” said Genting Malaysia.
It added that the notes were expected to be listed and quoted on the Official List of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd and listed but not quoted for trading on Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd. Genting Malaysia said. ....
