Invasive zebra mussels have been found in commercially available aquatic moss balls in North Carolina, and consumers who have purchased any such balls in the past month are urged to properly destroy them and clean their aquariums.
Art Bogan, research curator of mollusks with the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences, identified the mussels in packaging labeled “Marimo Moss Ball Plant Grab & Go” and “Mini Marimo Moss Balls” as zebra mussels. N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission biologists had purchased the moss balls from a PetSmart in Burlington. PetSmart is removing the product from their shelves but has not shared plans for disposal, while Petco confirmed that it will take the appropriate steps to remove and destroy the moss balls at all N.C. locations. ....

The government of Sindh has decided to change the design of the Malir Expressway in a bid to reduce the environmental impact of the expressway s construction.
According to sources, the change in design will exclude more than 20 goths of the PS-88 Malir constituency which would otherwise have been affected.
Sources further revealed that the new route of the expressway will now be diverted right after the Quaidabad flyover ends. As a result, many of the houses and people s agricultural lands that were previously being affected by the construction will now be saved. ....

Arguably the boldest Ford Motor Company product in a long time, the Maverick is expected to attract new customers to the Dearborn-based automaker for several reasons. One of them is the price, rumored at $20k excluding destination for the base powerplant and FWD.

Spied time and again, the Maverick is going to enter production at the Hermosillo plant in July 2021 as a 2022 model, according to Automotive News. The cited publication is pretty much on point with previous reports, which means that we don’t need to be skeptical about the alleged timeframe.
