Oregon GOP senators introduce bill that will hurt their own party leadership


SALEM, Ore Two Oregon republican state senators introduced a new bill that appears to target its GOP colleagues.
State Senators Lynn P. Findley (R – Vale) and Bill Hansell (R – Athena), introduced senate bill 865 earlier this week.
The bill would prohibit a person from serving in office while also leading a central committee of a political party. It says that any elected official that violates the order would be fined $250 per day.

Oregon GOP lawmakers urge AG to join suit challenging 4 states' votes - but too late


Dear Attorney General Rosenblum,
We the undersigned urge you to join the growing list of states joining the lawsuit filed by the State of Texas in which they have argued that electors from Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin should not be allowed to cast their votes in part because those states unconstitutionally changed their voting procedures during the coronavirus pandemic to allow for increased mail-in ballots.
According to the complaint, filed in the US Supreme Court:

Non-legislative actors’ purported amendments to States’ duly enacted election laws, in violation of the Electors Clause’s vesting State legislatures with plenary authority regarding the appointment of presidential electors. ....
