CHEBOYGAN At the May 24 Cheboygan Area Schools Board of Education meeting, Cheboygan Middle School and Inverness Academy Principal Dr. Michelle Ackerman spotlighted the goings on of her two buildings for the school board members.
Ackerman said the school year was ending for all students, both the in-person learners and those who were doing their learning virtually. There were around 25 sixth graders who were doing their learning remotely and around 16 seventh graders. And that s down, she said. Probably after first semester, students decided to come back to in-person learning. But we still have a handful that are remote.
