Through the collective efforts and systematic approach launched by its local and national officials, the city has been coping up well with the coronavirus and its variants, according to Senator Cynthia Villar. To date, Las Piñas has also started giving jabs to essential workers in city who belong to the A4 priority list in adherence to the national government’s protocols.

Las Piñas LGU to inoculate pre-listed individuals with Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in 2 hospitals

(City of Las Piñas / MANILA BULLETIN) Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the vaccination of the pre-listed individuals will be held at the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) Gym I and at the Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center. Aguilar said the inoculation at the UPHSD will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. while at the Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. She said the city government decided to use the Pfizer vaccine supply at the two hospitals because of its delicateness. Paul San Miguel, Public Information chief, said the 11,700 Pfizer vaccine doses allotted for the city arrived on Wednesday night (May 12) and were placed at Zuellig storage facility.

On Friday, April 16, a ceremonial send-off was held in Cebu City for 30 nurses from Central Visayas. Twenty nurses are assigned to the National Center for Mental Health in Mandaluyong City while the rest will be deployed to the Las Pin~as General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center.
