SRINAGAR, July 7: Administrative Secretary Higher Education Department (HED), Sushma Chauhan today released the book ‘Role of Teacher Is Vital In Society’ authored by Late Dr. Satya Pal Vaid.

NAB grills top bureaucrat Nabeel Ahmad in assets case

LAHORE: Investigators of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday grilled Secretary, Specialised Healthcare & Medical Education Department Punjab Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan in an investigation of assets beyond means against the top bureaucrat.
It has learnt that the NAB is conducting a forensic audit of assets of Nabeel Awan, including the audit of land registry which the accused claimed that it got from inheritance. Moreover, forensic audit of ink and font on original documents obtained by the NAB of properties of the bureaucrat in question is also underway.
The NAB has also sought record of assets of Nabeel Awan from different districts including Faisalabad. Previously, Nabeel had appeared before the NAB in a case related to Punjab Entertainment Company (PEC). ....

권칠승 중소벤처기업부 장관이 8일 서울 대한상공회의소 체임버 라운지에서 환경·사회·지배구조(ESG) 경영에 관심을 갖고 있는 중소기업들과 간담회를 가졌다.
이번 간담회는 기후위기 대응, 안전사고 발생 방지 등 기업의 지속가능경영에 대한 사회적 요구가 확대되면서 최근 글로벌 메가트랜드로 부상한 ESG에 대한 중소기업계 의견을 청취하기 위해 마련됐다.
최근 협력사 선정 시 ESG 수준을 평가하는 등 ESG가 대기업 뿐만아니라 중소기업 경영에도 영향을 미치고 있으나, 코로나19로 경영이 어려운 중소기업들에게 ESG는 새로운 부담으로 작용하고 있다.
간담회에서 중소기업들은 현장에서 느끼는 ESG 경영 추진에 대한 애로 사항을 전달했으며, 정부에 대한 정책 건의를 자유롭게 제시했다.
