Deloitte Digital takes out Round 1 of the 2022 Siren Awards

Commercial Radio Australia has crowned Deloitte Digital as the winner of round 1 of the 2022 Siren Awards.
The agency took out prizes for the Best Single Ad and Overall Round Winner at the awards for its Suzuki Australia ‘Motorbike of Cars’ advertisement, an ASMR-style clip which asked listeners to imagine a Suzuki car as being “two motorbikes stuck together with couches”.
In response to their win, creators Charles Baylis and Matt Lawson said that “radio is all about the theatre of the mind”.
“We allowed an audience to experience an impossibly fun mode of transport and drive it around that theatre, legally,” they said. ....

M&C Saatchi wins Gold Siren award for radio industry's best ad campaign

M&C Saatchi has taken out the top gong at Commercial Radio Australia’s 2021 Siren Awards, with its campaign for Lilydale/Steggles awarded the Gold Siren.
The agency’s ‘Ugly, but good for you’ campaign was awarded the highest honour given by the industry to an advertising campaign, and Melissa Hawkett and Jason Leigh were on hand to accept the award this evening in Sydney.

Pair awarded for Steggles turkey’s “Ugly, but good for you” campaign
M&C Saatchi Sydney creative team Melissa Hawkett and Jason Leigh have taken out round five of the Siren Awards for excellence in radio advertising for Steggles turkey’s “Ugly, but good for you” campaign.
The “German Jog Techno” commercial was voted overall winner and best single ad, while the four commercials in the series were awarded best campaign.
