WOODLAND PARK, Colo. (KRDO) Woodland Park School District is no longer requiring masks.
District employees are advised to become vaccinated. However, it is not mandatory.
The district also says families are not required to vaccinate their school-age children, and students are not required to be vaccinated to attend class or student activities.
“We will be closely monitoring COVID-19 case rates and any increases in cases from Variants,” said Dr. Mathew Neal, Superintendent, Woodland Park School District.  “Should a need arise to close a particular class or school we will consult with the Teller County Public Health Department to assess and make the appropriate action.” ....

Teller County will not set local COVID rules once Colorado's restrictions expire


Teller County announced Thursday it will not set local coronavirus regulations after state rules expire this week. 
County officials will step in as needed to intervene in outbreaks, but the county won t enforce capacity limits at indoor events or social distancing requirements of 6 feet, said Martha Hubbard, Teller County Public Health director. Teller and El Paso counties are considered at level yellow on the state s dial, which limits gyms and restaurants to 50% capacity. Neither county plans local rules to replace state restrictions.
Once the state lifts its mask mandate in on May 3, Teller County has no plans to replace it, according to a news release.  ....

TELLER COUNTY — The Teller County Board of Health announced Wednesday that it has informed the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) that Teller County will be moving to Level Blue on the state’s COVID-19 Dial on Thursday, Feb. 18.
“Teller County residents should be applauded for their efforts to reduce the spread of the virus.
