HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Township resident Grace Chen, along with classmates Sohum Shah and Milan Patel, organized a campaign at Somerset County Vo-Tech High School for students to write letters of thanks and encouragement to members of the US military deployed overseas.
Several hundred letters were collected and dropped off at the headquarters of Operation Shoebox New Jersey, a non-profit volunteer organization based in Hillsborough that ships personal care packages to US troops around the world. The letters were included in the latest shipment of packages. ....
