Fall River:
Fall River will have its second annual Memorial Day motorcade at 2 p.m. this Sunday, May 30.
Bill Desmarais, Senior Vice Commander of the Fall River War Veterans Council, said they held the first motorcade last year and were the only city in the area to have a similar event during the pandemic.

The motorcade will begin on Water Street near Battleship Cove, then circle through almost every neighborhood in the city before ending at Vietnam Memorial Wall at Bicentennial Veterans Memorial Park. After  a ceremony at the memorial wall, there will be dinner and entertainment at the Liberal Club, 20 Star St., Fall River. ....

The first Fall River City Council meeting scheduled to be held after that date will be June 8.
Baker also announced that the state of emergency in Massachusetts, which took effect in March 2020, will end on June 15.
