Jaxon Sorenson and Houston Fogelstrom drove in two runs each for Wheat City. For Pierre (13-31), starter Jakob Newman (0-2) allowed six runs and five hits in three innings. A trio who run a popular Blackburn takeaway are celebrating the business first birthday today. Tewwstep, on Albert Street, opened to the public on June 9, 2020, with the owners cooking from home following a fantastic response to their food from family members. Co-owners, Nathan Marsden, 26, Jacob Griffin, 24 and Kalum Bromage, 24, are delighted to be celebrating the takeaway s first year of business despite their being many lockdown hurdles along the way.
