During the first lockdown a few High Street residents shared online research about the sea captains who had lived in the area. Resident Dolly Daniel has gone a step further in remembering those who inhabited her house before her. They included a land agent for the Senhouse family, Mary Fell, a Workington ship owner who married James Fell, another ship owner. Then came Captain John Kendall, followed bu Captain Joseph Graham.
