According to Jim O Donnell of the Daily Herald, the Chicago Bears could reportedly go up for sale soon due to internal strife among members of the McCaskey family, the team s current owners. The Bears have been in the Halas family for five generations. Virginia Halas McCaskey, daughter of George Halas, is currently the team s principal owner. It s unclear which members of the McCaskey family are feuding over the decision to sell the team. O Donnell notes that there s belief Virginia McCaskey does not want to sell. She is the oldest and longest-tenured team owner in the NFL. ....
