Captainâs Cabin owners Charles and Sarah Brunson announced the business closing on the restaurantâs Facebook page Sunday morning. They stated, âAfter 30 odd years we are saying goodbye. We have closed our restaurant after months of speculation, rumor, and innuendo. We are a privately owned business, and we keep our decisions private. We need not explain why we are closing, as the reasons are many.â While they thanked their customers who supported them for many years, the owners took those who âcreated a social media frenzyâ to task. They said, âsocial media can be a highly effective tool to put forth a message for many. In the case of Captainâs Cabin that message was skewed on social media by many.â ....
