Fans of BBC detective show Shetland have been sharing their excitement at the news that the latest series has wrapped filming. The show, based on the bestselling books by Ann Cleeves, stars Douglas Henshall as DI Jimmy Perez who investigates a series of grisly crimes on the archipelago. It has won fans from as far afield as Canada, Australia, South Africa and the USA with its mix of gripping plotlines and stunning island scenery. The sixth series was due to be filmed last year, but after being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic the decision was made to film it back to back with series seven. ....
