ETSU expanding rehabilitative sciences footprint with two new programs


East Tennessee State University is preparing to launch two in-demand programs that will expand its footprint in the rehabilitative sciences — a Doctor of Occupational Therapy and a Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
ETSU will begin accepting applications for both programs this July, and will welcome the first cohorts of students in May 2022.
The programs will be housed on the VA campus in Building 2, which is set to undergo renovations that will transform it into ETSU’s rehabilitative sciences hub. Currently, Building 2 houses ETSU’s Physical Therapy Program on the second floor. A $4 million renovation will begin this August on an additional 14,000 square feet of space on the first floor that will house Occupational Therapy and Orthotics and Prosthetics. ....

Three C-level changes coming at Envision

Envision Healthcare is turning over several leaves in its executive suite, which will soon see three C-level positions turn over and two execs step into new senior vice president positions as President and CEO Jim Rechtin nears his first anniversary with the company.
Among the executives preparing to step aside is CFO Wes Booysen, who joined Envision
less than five months ago after more than a decade at Molson Coors. In a statement, Envision said Booysen will step down at the end of January for personal reasons and be replaced on an interim basis by Henry Howe, who also will be the company’s full-time executive VP of enterprise strategy and financial planning. Howe joined Nashville-based Envision in April to help Rechtin, who took the helm ....
