by Amy Abt, Special to The Union
Rick Williams, Jennifer Briggs, Sasha Hughes, and Toni St. Jacques with Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital are shown here with the SNMH Community Cancer Center’s linear accelerator.

It’s interesting to read the destinations included for half-price flights in Morrison’s latest spending splurge. The Gold Coast qualifies but Byron Bay does not; Launceston makes the cut but Hobart misses out. The Gold Coast and Launceston happen to be in Lib ....

Deputy Premier John Barilaro is wrong to accuse Greens MLA David Shoebridge of politicising bushfire funding (“Bushfire damaged areas get zero funds”, February 8). The politicisation occurred when the NSW government decided to allocate these funds on the basis of whether the electorate is held by the Coalition. As is the case with so many grants programs in NSW, decisions are no longer based on need or merit, but on the political benefit to Barilaro’s party and its Coalition partner. - ....
