Josephine Co. asks for kids' artwork submissions for yearly calendar - KOBI-TV NBC5 / KOTI-TV NBC2

JOSEPHINE CO., Ore.– Middle school students are being asked to submit artwork that could be featured in the ‘problem gambling calendar’.
The Oregon Health Authority is teaming up with Josephine County Prevention to find artwork submitted by kids grades 6 through 8 for its calendar.
The county said it’s offering 10 dollar subway gift cards to each kid who submits their artwork.
Other prizes will be given if your work is chosen for the calendar.
The deadline to turn it in is April 15th.

Hello Middle School students, parents, and teachers!
Are you looking for something creative to do with your student in grades 6-8? The Oregon Health Authority and Josephine County Prevention are sponsoring the 2022 Problem Gambling Calendar for Middle School students throughout Oregon. Over 1000 are distributed just in Josephine County each year.
All Middle Schools in KOBI viewer area are invited to participate. In addition to the prizes the State is offering, the County Prevention Program will be offering $10 Subway Gift Cards to each student that provides an art piece highlighting Problem Gambling Awareness, and the students whose artwork is chosen to represent the County will each receive a $25 gift card. If there is not enough entries to the State search, a local calendar will be published and 13 pieces of art selected with receive $50 gift card. ....
