Tigers Welcome Liberty For First Time Since 2004
Clemson, S.C. Clemson (7-13, 1-10) is set to host a midweek matinee against Liberty (17-6, 6-0 ASUN) on Tuesday at The Duckworth Family Tennis Facility. The Tigers and Flames will meet for the first time since 2004. First serve for the match is slated to begin at 2 p.m.

Tigers Reschedule Match Vs. Boston College
Clemson, S.C. The Tigers (8-14, 2-10 ACC) have rescheduled their match against Boston College (4-9, 2-9 ACC). The match, which was originally scheduled to be played on April 2, is now slated for Saturday, April 17 at noon at The Duckworth Family Tennis Facility.

Azuma/Whitaker Stay Undefeated While Tigers Drop to Georgia Tech, 4-1
Clemson, S.C. The Clemson men’s tennis team (5-7, 1-4 ACC) fell to ACC opponent Georgia Tech (7-5, 2-3 ACC) 4-1 on Friday at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility. The two teams were tied for the No. 44 ranks in the nation heading into the match.
In doubles play, Spencer Whitaker and Ryuhei Azuma remained undefeated, earning the victory on line one 7-5 to advance to 5-0 as a pair. However, losses on Courts 1 and 3 ultimately cost the Tigers the doubles point.
Jorge Plans Gonzalez earned his second consecutive singles victory by a score of 6-4, 6-4 on court 5. Whitaker and Jacob Jahn were in the third set of their matches after winning both of their respective first sets when the Yellow Jackets clinched the win.
Tempe, Az. The Clemson men's tennis team (5-6, 1-3 ACC) made their 2021 debut in the ITA rankings on Wednesday morning tied for No. 44.. It marks the second-straight season that the Tigers have been ranked within the top-50. For the full release from the ITA click here. Clemson's most notable win of the 2021 season thus far came on Feb. 19 when the Tigers defeated Florida State for the first time since 2014. Additionally, Clemson fell in 3-4 decisions to now No. 39 Miami and No. 31 Duke on Feb. 21 and 28, respectively. Last season the Tigers received their first ranking since 2016, making their debut on Feb. 18, 2020 at No. 45 and achieved a season high mark of No. 40. The Tigers are back in action this weekend when they host T-44 Georgia Tech on Friday at 5 p.m at The Duckworth Family Tennis Facility.
