Schools in Diss and Harleston have thanked world-renowned actor and writer Stephen Fry after he delivered a personalised message of support to students in the area.
Norfolk-born Fry recorded a message in which he urged students at St Benetâs Multi-Academy Trust schools to not judge themselves too harshly, adding that there is no correct way of managing the stress onset by the pandemic.
The V for Vendetta star said: âDonât ever fall into the trap of thinking that youâre somehow failing or getting lockdown wrong â there is no way to get through all this that is right and proper. ....

“We have a set timetable and I think that is important because a lot of our families need structure. Lessons will go up on those times and during those times the teachers are online, prepared to give live feedback and support.
“However we are also very aware that every family is different and depending on parents situations we still have a fair few children who do the work but not in the normal timetable. It might be that mum is free in the afternoon to support so that is when they do their work.”
