former Minister of Education and co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls movement, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, has slammed a social media contractor, Japheth Omojuwa, saying she was never a director of his company, Alpha Reach, as claimed.
Ezekwesili said on Friday that Omojuwa must produce a public apology as well as send to her the financial correspondence of the company to be sure that her name was not forged further in any of the dealings.
The former minister, speaking through her counsel, Falana and Falana’s Chambers, stated this in a letter, titled, “Complaint over Fraudulent Use of the name of Mrs Obiageli Ezekwesili as a director of the Alpha Reach Limited; Demand for full disclosure and public apology.”

As an alleged money launderer who worked with the Venezuelan government and is fighting an extradition order to the United States, Alex Saab has some unlikely allies.
Since mid-January, #FreeAlexSaab has been a rallying cry among Nigerians on Twitter, thanks to a broad influence operation with connections to employees of a Nigerian PR firm and a UK-based nonprofit called Digital Good Governance for Africa. The campaign paid influencers to tweet about Saab in an effort to sway public opinion and court proceedings in Nigeria and Cape Verde, the African island nation where Saab is currently under house arrest.
Twitter suspends Nigerian social media influencers’ accounts
The social media influencers were alleged to have promoted a campaign in favour of a detained Venezuelan.

Twitteron Monday suspended the accounts of some popular Nigerian influencers for promoting a campaign in favour of detained Venezuelan diplomat, Alex Saab.
Among the influencers whose accounts were suspended by Twitter are Dr Pampam (@UnclePamilerin), Four Eye Edo Boy (@Alex House of 308), Tife (@Tife fabunmi) and Samuel Mbah (@mbahdeyforyou).
Others are Valhalla (@Valhalla XO), Volqx (@volqx), MR AHMED (@UncleMohamz).
They were alleged to have collected over $2,000 each to coordinate a campaign to obstruct Mr Saab’s extradition to the United States.
