GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC) — Two of the three people indicted for their roles in the alleged kidnapping of two young children from their foster home in Greece back in January will appear in court Thursday.
Both
were indicted in March , with police accusing Dimitri of organizing the Jan. 18 kidnapping of his children. Taken in the incident were 5-year-old Dimitri Cash Jr. and 3-year-old Shakeria Cash from their English Road foster home in Greece. The report also named Joenathan Cash, a cousin of Dimitri, as the third alleged kidnapper in this case.

Trio indicted in abduction of Greece siblings that prompted Amber Alert

A third person has been charged in connection with the violent abduction of two Greece siblings in January as a 19-count felony indictment was revealed by Greece police this week.
Dimitri Cash Jr., 5, and his sister Shekeria Cash, 3, were forcibly taken from their foster home on English Road around 8:40 p.m. on Jan. 18 by two masked, unidentified suspects.
The siblings were located by federal law enforcement officials less than 48 hours later in Montgomery, Alabama after police tracked a rental car there. They were unharmed and were reunited with their foster family within a few days.
According to court documents released Tuesday, Joenathan Cash, 22, and Kimara Pluviose, 32, were the two accused of breaking into the house and abducting the siblings. Dimitri Cash Sr., 29, the children's biological father, planned the kidnapping from their foster home with his cousin Joenathan Cash and his girlfriend Pluviose.

Missing children from Greece found safe, woman arrested

Greece Police say the two young children kidnapped Monday evening have been located in Alabama and they are okay.
Police Chief Drew Forsythe on Wednesday night said that Shekeria Cash, 3, and her 5-year-old brother Dimitri Cash Jr. were found in the backseat of a car being driven by a woman in Montgomery, AL late Wednesday afternoon.
An Amber Alert had been issued late Monday night when police say someone broke into the foster home the kids were living in on English Road. At that time, police say two men in ski masks duct-taped a woman living there and two of her other foster kids, and then grabbed Shekeria and Dimitri and took off.

Greece Police, along with federal, state and local authorities continue their urgent search for two missing children who police say could be in imminent danger.
An Amber Alert was issued at about midnight Monday night for two small kids police say were abducted from a home on English Rd. in Greece at about 8:40 p.m.
One child is identified as Shekeria Cash, approximately 3 years old, described as a Black female with braided, black hair and brown eyes. She’s about 4' tall and weighs about 40 lbs. and was last seen wearing panda pajamas.
The other child is identified as Dimitri Cash Jr., approximately 5 years old, described as a Black male with short, black hair and brown eyes. He is also about 4' tall and weighs about 50 lbs. Dimitri was last seen wearing either fire truck or dinosaur pajamas.

The woman who was arrested in Alabama with two kidnapped children has been brought to the Town of Greece to face justice.
Kimara Pluviose made an initial court appearance last night.
The children were found in her car last week -- two days after they were abducted from their foster home on English Road.
Yesterday's court appearance for Dimitri Cash Sr. was postponed.
Cash reportedly wants to testify in front of a grand jury and is currently in quarantine at the Monroe County Jail.
He has had two negative COVID tests since his arrest.
Cash is accused of masterminding the abduction last week.

Dimitri Cash Sr., the father of two children who were abducted from outside of Rochester, has been charged in their kidnapping, according to WIVB. The siblings, 3-year-old Shekeria Cash and 5-year-old Dimitri Cash, were taken from their foster home in Greece, New York, on January 18, 2021. Cash Sr. was arrested and charged in connection to the abduction. He has been charged with robbery, kidnapping, and burglary. He is being held in the Monroe County Jail. Authorities found the children a few days later; they were located safely at a location in Alabama.

Police say Dimitri Cash worked with the people who took the children on January 19th. He's being charged with kidnapping, burglary and robbery.
His two children Shekeria Cash, 3, and Dimirti Cash, Jr., 5, were found on January 21st in Montgomery, Alabama lying on the backseat floor of a van and covered in a blanket.

Court Paperwork Reveals New Details in Greece Abduction Case

The documents say the children's father,
Dimitri Cash, 29, has now been charged along with Kimara Pluviose, 32, with kidnapping, burglary, and robbery.
They also say Cash was charged under section 20 of the penal code, which accuses him of taking part in the planning of the kidnapping of his own children. However, it was not made clear whether he is accused of being one of the intruders that took the children from the foster home.

Greece Police have announced two arrests in connection with the abduction of two children from a home on English Road a week ago.
The brother and sister, 5-year-old Dimitri Cash Jr. and 3-year-old Shekeria Cash, were later located safe by authorities in Alabama.
On Saturday, police said that they have charged Dimitri Cash, 29, who is the boy’s father. He was being held at the Monroe County jail.
Also, police have arrested Kimara Pluviose, 32. She is being held in Alabama.
When police found the two children last week, they were hidden in the back seat of a car after officers followed up on some leads and stopped the vehicle. The woman driving the car was taken into custody.
