In his 2019 autobiography, Then It Fell Apart, the musician claimed he took Portman for a drink and kissed her while visiting her at Harvard during her studies there in the late 90s. After the book s release, Portman refuted Moby s tale that she was involved in a romantic relationship with him, saying she found it disturbing that he was using her to promote his book. Moby eventually apologised to Portman and others he has written about in Then It Fell Apart without telling them beforehand. ....

The Marc Almond-led duo have been back in the studio in lockdown working on what will mark their first new music since 2002 s acclaimed LP Cruelty Without Beauty . The Say Hello, Wave Goodbye hitmakers went their separate ways with one final gig at The O2 in London in 2018. However, they later reunited and hit the studio to record a brand new album for fans. Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper s Wired column, instrumentalist Dave Ball said: Before the O2 show, Marc and I hadn t seen each other in about 15 years. ....

Megadeth are just hours away from finishing their new album. The thrash metal titan s bassist David Ellefson has revealed the follow-up to 2016 s Dystopia is in the final hours getting everything done . He told Rock Music Star: “I was actually just down there [at the recording studio] last week. I went to Nashville to just put a couple of little, tiny finishing touches on some stuff. We’re literally in the final hours of getting everything done. Obviously, COVID slowed things down. “Kiko [Loureiro, guitar] lives over in Finland now, and there were some delays last year, just with travel and with everything shutting down. But me and Dirk [Verbeuren, drums] got down there pretty quickly by May and June [of last year], we were in there cutting tracks. It’s been good, though.” ....
Olivia Dean has been named Amazon Music UK s Breakthrough artist of 2021.
