NASHVILLE (BP) A search committee has been named to find a successor to Russell Moore as president of the Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission.
On behalf of the ERLC Executive Committee, David Prince, chairman of the commission’s trustees, announced July 6 Todd Howard was selected as chair of the presidential search committee. Howard is the pastor of Watson Chapel Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Ark.
The other trustees named to the committee are Lori Bova, founder of Veritas Classical Christian Academy, and a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church in Hobbs, N.M.; Traci Griggs, a communications/public policy specialist and radio show host, and a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Apex, N.C.; Christine Hoover, author and Bible teacher, and a member of Charlottesville Community Church in Charlottesville, Va.; Juan Sanchez, senior pastor of ....
