New Delhi [India], May 6 (ANI): Delhi s Dwarka Court ordered the Delhi Police to release 12 seized Oxygen concentrators seized on May 4, for the medication of police officers, judicial officers and their family members infected with COVID-19.
The Metropolitan Magistrate Anuj Bahal in an order passed on Wednesday directed that, out of 12, two Oxygen Concentrator should be released to Dwarka Deputy Commissioner of Police, for the use of COVID-19 infected police personnel.
The order said that three Oxygen Concentrator should be released for infected judicial officers at Tiz Hazari court; two to the office of Principal District and Session Judge in Dwarka; three to the office of Principal District and Session Judge in Saket; and two to Covid Health ....

‘Can be used for saving policemen, judicial officers and their family members’
A Delhi Court has ordered release of 12 oxygen concentrators, which was seized by the police, for medication of police officer, judicial officers and their family members.
Metropolitan Magistrate Anuj Bahal gave the order after Delhi Police filed an application seeking to release oxygen concentrators saying these oxygen concentrators can be used for saving life of the police personnel who are suffering from COVID-19.
The 12 oxygen concentrators were seized from two persons and all of them were deposited in Police Station Dwarka Malkhana. The police said no useful purpose would be solved to retain the oxygen in the police malkhana and the same should be circulated back for the use of needy patients. ....

NLU Odisha in Cuttack, whose former vice-chancellor (VC) Prof Srikrishna Deva Rao had joined NLU Delhi in September 2020, will be appointing his replacement with Delhi University’s law faculty former dean and head, Prof
Ved Kumari.
Kumari had been law dean at Delhi University (DU) until 2016, when she had resigned in protest over alleged stone-walling of faculty appointments and other inaction by the university’s senior administration.
She has continued teaching at DU and was due for retirement in August of this year.
When contacted, she confirmed her appointment and said she had been busy with research, writing, teaching, webinar and training. ....
