auckland.scoop.co.nz » Fighting Discrimination With Perspiration: Fcb And The New Zealand Aids Foundation Team Up For Sweat With Pride

Press Release – Joint Press Release
Carmen Collected, Tilda Sweatpours or Jim Locker? You decide.
It’s a sad fact that in 2021, Aotearoa’s LGBTQIA+ communities have worse health outcomes than their peers in several different areas including mental health and HIV transmission.
So, to mark International Pride month in June, the New Zealand AIDS Foundation (NZAF) is challenging people to ‘Sweat with Pride’ by exercising for at least 21 minutes a day to get active and raise money to support the Rainbow community. To help with this, NZAF has engaged the services of three ‘Perspirational Trainers’, fronted by some of the LGBTQIA+ community’s most fabulous drag artists.

Marathon Milestone For Hawke's Bay Local

Friday, 14 May 2021, 9:18 am
A major jetboat crash, cancer and cancellations due to
COVID-19 haven’t stopped 39-year-old Hawke’s Bay local
Cameron Burton from lining up at this weekend’s New
Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty Hawke’s Bay
Marathon.
After a jetboat crash in 2006, Cameron was
told he would never run again. Despite this life-changing
news, he worked hard on his recovery and later competed in
two Coast to Coasts. Then there was another challenge –
Cameron was diagnosed with Stage 2b Testicular Cancer,
requiring three months of intensive chemotherapy.
Not
one to let obstacles stop him, Cameron continues to focus on

Jockey Integrated Advert By FCB: Remundies | Ads of the World™

Description
Testicular Cancer, the most common form of cancer affecting men aged between 18 and 39, gets a kick in the proverbials with the creation of Remundies, launched this week in line with Testicular Cancer Awareness month.
An initiative created by FCB NZ and produced in partnership with Jockey and Farmers, Remundies is a range of Jockey underwear that communicates with their owner on a regular basis via text, reminding them to check for signs of the disease each month. Upon purchasing Remundies, the owner is registered at remundies.co.nz, and so the conversation begins.
In collaboration with Darkhorse, Jockey’s Social & PR agency to support Jockey’s initiative, the All Blacks and All Blacks Sevens stripped down to their Jockeys as part of their long-term sponsorship with New Zealand’s favourite underwear brand, Jockey.

The charity is partnering with content platform imgur to create compelling, fun, shareable graphics around the similarity of the movements of using a game controller and checking your nuts. The idea is to get guys who are keenly familiar with the motions of their game controllers to use these motions to check themselves regularly.
