The former Kmart property at Summerdale Plaza in East Pennsboro Township will be redeveloped into a Tractor Supply store and an AutoZone.

Plans are moving forward for casinos, stores and other business.
Penn National says that casinos in York and Berks counties are expected to be completed by the end of the year. The owners of Park Casino still have their eyes on the Shippensburg area and are moving forward with plans to build the casino on the sight of a former Lowes store.

If you’ve been outlet shopping in the Lancaster area, you’ve been on it – the tourism corridor of Route 30, the 2.5 mile part that runs from Route 896 to the Strasburg Pike. In addition to the Tanger Outlets Lancaster and the Shops @ Rockvale, the busy street includes the American Music Theatre and Dutch Wonderland along with countless restaurants and shops, and numerous hotels including the Cartoon Network Hotel.
Book Warehouse to open in the Hershey area

Tanger Outlets Hershey in Derry Township will welcome two new tenants this month.
Book Warehouse is opening this month in the former retail space of Bass next to the Calvin Klein store. Bass, previously closed all of its stores.
Book Warehouse is a discount book store that is also located at Tanger Outlets Lancaster and the Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg.
“We have stores located across America from coast to coast and offer a broad range of books for all tastes, interests, and ages,” the retailer said on its website. “From cookbooks to religion, children’s educational books to romance, science to history - you will find it in our stores.”

The store will open in suite 116 at the outlets at 311 Stanley K. Tanger Blvd. next to Asics in mid-April.
The store sells clothing and accessories for men, women and children including men’s silk ties, designer sport shirts and women and men’s polo shirts.

The company has more than 100 stores in more than 30 states, Washington D.C. and Bermuda. The company has two stores in Pennsylvania one in the King of Prussia Mall and one in Pittsburgh.
The outlets have more than 60 tenants including the Nike Factory Store, Pottery Barn Outlet, West Elm Outlet and H&M. In November, Nissley Vineyards Wine Shop and Tasting Room opened at Tanger Outlets. The store features a wine shop, where customers can purchase wines by the bottle or case, as well as several locally produced beers. The tasting room seats around 30 people.
