A fun-loving Jack Russell dog called Rosie has come to the rescue of care home residents struggling to cope with the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The people-friendly canine is a real ‘bundle of joy’ according to her owner, Angela Williams, who works at Bryn Seiont Newydd on the outskirts of Caernarfon. She is playful but placid which made her a perfect choice to bring in to interact with residents. A strong bond has now been struck up between Rosie and her new-found best friends who live at Bryn Seiont Newydd. Angela said: “The truth is that she gets as much pleasure out of seeing them as they do from her visits here.” ....
Frankie Drake Mysteries Seven Network in Australia, YLE in Finland and UKTV’s crime drama channel Alibi are among international broadcasters to have picked up crime dramas including Frankie Drake Mysteries from UK-based distributor DCD Rights. Seven and YLE have both taken Frankie Drake Mysteries, which is produced by Shaftesbury Productions in association with CBC and UKTV. The show, which follows Toronto’s only female private detectives as they take on cases the police don’t want to touch, has also been picked up by Ovation TV in the US, which follows a PBS Distribution streaming window; Epic Drama and VIP Serial in CEE, Russia and CIS; Sky in New Zealand; and HRT in Croatia. ....

Described as a ‘gripping drama’ of revenge and murder, the second series of Dry Water takes up the story after the shocking end to the first series and stars, alongside Victoria Guerra (Casanova Variations, Wilde Wedding), Monti Castiñeiras (Néboa, Fariña/Cocaine Coast), Sergio Pazos (Caiga Quien Caiga, Serramoura) and Adriano Luz (Mysteries Of Lisbon, Night Train to Lisbon). The second series of Dry Water (8 x 60’) sees a traumatised detective Teresa (Guerra) pick up Fran’s investigation into the notorious Galdón familiy. She’s certain that Mauro, the family patriarch, has ties to arms trafficking – but how to prove it?
