'No Police': Restaurant Owner Posts A Job Offer For The Person Who Robbed His Restaurant

When the employees of Diablo’s Southwest Grill in Augusta, Georgia came to work in the morning on April 3rd, they saw their glass front doors looking like a “hurricane.” It turned out, there was a break-in at around 4am at Diablo’s Wheeler Road location, news that would make any owner very upset.
But Carl Wallace, the owner of the place, saw it as an opportunity to help the potentially troubled stranger and offered him a job. “To the would-be robber who is clearly struggling with life decisions or having money issues… please swing by for a job application,” Carl wrote on the restaurant’s Facebook page and immediately won the hearts of the internet. ....

Georgia Restaurant Owner Offers Job To Man Who Robbed Him

Diablo’s Southwest Grill was robbed around 4 a.m. on Saturday (April 3).
Carl Wallace, who has owned the restaurant for nearly a decade, told
CNN that he was angry and frustrated at first, before feeling bad for the person who committed the crime. He added that forgiveness seemed like the appropriate response, especially during Easter weekend.
Wallace shared photos on Facebook following the break-in, which garnered thousands of reactions and hundreds of comments.
“Our burritos are such a smash hit we’ve got people breaking in at 4am for their fix. So if ya see our door looking hurricane fabulous at Wheeler Rd this is why. ....
