An Australian truckie who was high on ice and actively psychotic when he ploughed into four officers on a Melbourne freeway has apologised.
Mohinder Singh faced the second day of his pre-sentence hearing in the Supreme Court of Victoria on Friday.

Battle to build I-49 Inner-City Connector heating up in 2021

SHREVEPORT, La. The I-49 Inner-City Connector has been discussed for decades and is expected to reach a whole new level of interest in 2021.

Motorists travelling on KZN freeways will have to dig deeper into their pockets as soon as toll fees increase from the 1st of March.

Government has announced toll fee will hiked by at least 3.39%. The N3 Marrinahill Toll Plaza is up by 50c while the N2 Mvoti will also go up by 50c for small vehicles.
Tariffs are determined according to vehicle size.
Sanral s Dumisani Nkabinde says regular users of the tolls qualify for a discount.
Frequent user discounts are still applicable. You are making between 20 and 39 trips you could get a 20% discount which can be applied for at your nearest toll plaza , he said. ....

Police chase: Driver of stolen cargo van arrested after leading authorities on high-speed pursuit in Los Angeles area

LOS ANGELES (KABC) A woman who led authorities on a hour-long chase in a stolen cargo van was taken into custody Friday morning in the El Sereno area, along with another motorist who gave the suspect a ride at the tail end of the pursuit.
The chase initially made its way from the San Gabriel Valley to the downtown Los Angeles area and back. It began in the El Sereno area and headed westbound on the 10 Freeway before the woman behind the wheel exited onto surface streets.
California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles Police Department vehicles later disengaged at some distance, apparently out of concern for public safety due to the van s speed. An LAPD helicopter continued to follow the vehicle from overhead. ....
