New tobacco cessation training program available in Kansas

It has been a busy year for Daniel Craig, cancer outreach coordinator at Tammy Walker Cancer Center.
He has been serving as the president of the Kansas Public Health Association (KPHA) during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, which has put tremendous pressure on people who work in public health. And now in his role of outreach coordinator, Craig is promoting a new tobacco cessation resource.
“While it has been a challenging year for public health, it’s also been an opportunity to show the important role we play,” Craig said.
The Kansas Public Health Association is a professional organization for public health practitioners and advocates. This includes doctors, nurses, local and state administrators, academics, researchers and health foundations. The association is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. ....
