The model with MCEME is of 1941 vintage.  
Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) here has been maintaining one of the rare vintage cars known as Humber Super Snipe that was used by General K M Cariappa who later became the Field Marshal.
The Super Snipe was introduced in October 1941 by combining a four-litre inline six-cylinder engine from the larger Humber Pullman with the chassis and body of the Humber Snipe. The result was a car of superior performance and a top speed of 79 mph.
The model with MCEME is of 1941 vintage, which was initially assigned AB-11 and later changed to AP-10 F 4566 post its decommissioning from military service. The vintage car was packed by the British army and ferried to India in 1943 and ultimately assigned to ‘A’ Pl of Army HQ Transport Company, according to a press note. The car was declared unserviceable in 1958. ....

An H1 Trolleybus working north to WInchmore Hill on the 641, today s 141, a RTL in the background, working on route 29 to Victoria and a 1931 built E/3 tram working the 33 to West Norwood via Kingsway Subway, covered by today s 341. The tram withdrawal notices are pasted on the windows of 2003, dating this photo to the end of March, beginning of April 1952.

Great photo! I remember being taken on the bus (or trolleybus) from where we lived near Turnpike Lane to Manor House and then crossing the junction to the waiting tram. There were several trips to the South Bank during the last years of the trams. I can still remember the excitement of going through the Kingsway tunnel. The most memorable trip was to the Festival of Britain in 1951. ....
