Charity half marathon by Neha Sinha, Wimbledon High School
Recently, Mr Cawsey, Mrs Franklin and Mrs Lingenfelder, all teachers as Wimbledon High School, embarked on a half marathon run to raise money for St Raphael s Hospice. I interviewed them on their experience of the half, their experiences fundraising and a little about the charity they were supporting. 
When I asked a little about the run as whole, Mr Cawsey commented that We ran the half marathon that should have been the Royal Parks Half Marathon, but obviously with COVID it wasn’t going on formally, so we met and ran 21.5km. We raised money for St Raphael s Hospice, we raised about nearly £2,500. Mrs Lingenfelder added that they ran from Southfields and ran down to Wandsworth Park, and then all the way along river, through Battersea, into Vauxhall and back. Mrs Franklin, additionally stated that the fundraising process was made much easier , due to the prospect of social media. Mrs Franklin goes on, ....
