Westchester officials give advice for Memorial Day gatherings with COVID-19 cases on the decline

Westchester County is seeing record-low numbers of COVID-19 cases, just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
County Executive George Latimer says there are currently 614 active cases in Westchester, which is half the number reported just two weeks ago.
While cases are going down and vaccinations are going up, Latimer and Health Commissioner Dr. Sherlita Amler are reminding people that we are not in the clear yet.
If you plan on having a get-together this weekend with vaccinated and unvaccinated people, they recommend you stay outside and social distance. ....
