Defense wants evidence thrown out in Ocala murder case
A judge said he needs to review transcripts, videos and testimony before deciding whether to suppress key evidence in a pending murder case. 
Last week, Assistant State Attorney Amy Berndt and defense lawyer Jason Wise questioned four Marion County Sheriff s Office deputies about their roles involving the grizzly discovery of a woman s body in a camper in early December 2018.

At issue for Circuit Judge Steven Rogers is whether sheriff s detectives had legal authorization to search the camper that led them to find the body of 48-year-old Lisa M. Jeffrey, as well as other evidence.  ....
