The City of Palm Coast held a special meeting Wednesday, May 19, 2021 to officially call a special election to be held to fill the vacated Mayor seat.
A special election will be held on July 27, 2021 as the Election Day at your precinct, with certification on July 30, 2021.
Early voting dates will be held July 17-24, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations:
Flagler County Supervisor of Elections Office - Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Boulevard, Building 2, Suite 101, Bunnell, Florida, 32110 ....

Public service is hard, and many elected officials struggle to balance the needs of their own families against their civic duties. That painful conflict was very evident in Tuesday night’s Facebook post by Palm Coast Mayor Milissa Holland.
“As you know my daughter has been through some extraordinarily challenging years healthwise that at times became so serious that the outcome could of been very different than what it is today,” Holland wrote. “For all of the prayers, support and words of encouragement that continued to pour in throughout this trying time, I want to say Thank You. …. As her primary caregiver and of course her Mom, I began the process of assessing and evaluating where I must spend my time and focus and that is right by her side. So it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to step down from my role as mayor of the city of Palm Coast.” ....
